My unit has been in for repairs more than we have used it. The bathroom and hallway floor have been replaced 3 times due to a water leak.

The leak was caused by screws used to assemble the unit being poked into the pipes. Skylight cracked, stereo unit replaced 3 times, sink fell down into the cabinet, microwave replaced once, electric jack replaced twice, emergency window handle broke off, awning arm collapsed (not due to wind or rain), electrical system out of whack (turn on the bedroom ceiling light and tv reception will stop). The first 2 years they were pretty good about repairs, still some things were NOT totally repaired. Now, there is still a leak and I replaced the floor with my own money, still have no idea where the leak is.

Awning still is not right, never replaced my propane alarm (which went off constantly from day 1).

If anyone can help or needs more info to do a class action lawsuit, I have ALL emails and correspondence and am willing to join. I cannot trade this unit as it is a lemon and no dealership is willing to take it in as we still owe $48,000.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $15000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Open Range Rv Pros: Floor plan and workmanship, Design, Customer service when it was under warranty.

Open Range Rv Cons: Microwave faliure, Craftmanship, Quality of rv, Over all quality of the entire camper, Faulty pipes.

Location: Hartland, Maine

Unfortunately you would need 100's of personnel with the same issues for any lawyer to take this as a Class Action ... best you can do is try to take them to small claims court which allows up to $5000 in most states ...

or to try to repair it the best you can in order to sell it to someone else .. BUT you need to make sure that you are upfront with the people you are selling it to otherwise they can come after you for fraud ... kinda funny though .. they can come after you for fraud ..BUT you can't go after the manufacturer for the same ...

sorry to here of your troubles ...
